Today, more than ever, it is important to be seen as a serious professional! Getting certified is one way to be seen as a professional and expert in your field. Others decide to get certified for their own confidence and accomplishment…

The Guild offers four Levels of Certification: Tarot Reader, Professional, Master, and Grand Master. The basic requirements are listed below. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions! support@tarotbiz.com

NOTE: You do NOT need to take our Course to get certified! Certification is open to ALL Tarot Professionals!

Level 1 - Certified Tarot Reader (CTR) - No prerequisites. Short multiple-choice Exam (quiz) and live Test Reading via Zoom Meeting or email...

After you pass the quiz on general Tarot knowledge, during the "Test Reading", the examiner will ask themselves, “What did I get out of this Reading?”, “Would I return to this Tarot Reader?”, “Would I recommend this Reader to family members and friends?”, etc…

Level 2 - Certified Tarot Professional (CTP) - Minimum of 5 years of experience and professional development.

There are no "tests" for Levels 2 - 4. You must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Professional Reader and demonstrate professional development... This can be documented in many ways:

Articles you have written, blog posts, writing a book, creating a deck, creating a podcast, making many appearances as a guest on podcasts, radio shows, YouTube or TV, promoting and furthering the field of Tarot, creating a website or other platform, teaching, mentoring in your field, etc...

The simplest way, however, is to get a Certificate in another related modality. Life Coaching is the one we usually recommend at this level, but it could also be a certification in another related field (Ask us if you are unsure. You may already be qualified). support@tarotbiz.com

Level 3 - Certified Tarot Master (CTM) - Minimum of 10 years of experience and professional development.

Tarot Master applicants must demonstrate they are making significant contributions to the field of Tarot and have continued to develop professionally, either by acquiring further certifications in related fields and/or a body of work, as described above, in the CTP section.

Level 4 - Certified Tarot Grandmaster (CTGM) - Minimum of 15 years of experience and professional development.

Tarot Grandmaster applicants are usually very well-known in the field of Tarot, and have a significant body of work, such as: Teaching, writing Books, creating Decks, blogs, articles, media appearances, and making a significant contribution to the World of Tarot.
